| Missions |
Missions and mission team outreaches has been an important part of the life at Our Father's House. Our teams have been in 20 countries around the world since 1990. We have had significant outreaches into the Ukraine, Costa Rica, Columbia, India, and various mission fields in the United States. Most recently, we have had outreach teams in Poland, Latvia, and Columbia. Greater than 20 percent of the church budget is designated for missions. We believe that some are "called to send" and some are "called to go".
- Local Missions - We reach out to out community by helping with Loaves and Fishes (feeding the hungry) during the year. We have members help at Youth for Christ, the Salvation Army feeding program, and other events happening in the Albert Lea area.
- Poland - Our Father's House has sent teams to Poland since 1990. These teams have included a youth outreach, prayer ministry training, apostolic ministry, mentoring, and encouragement.
- Latvia - As a church we have gone to Latvia over 25 times since 1996. We have presented a Spiritual Warfare Conference, Worship Seminar, Couple's Retreat, Biblical Prayer Ministry Conference, Father's Love Seminar, and staffed a Family Camp. We have also taught in the Latvian and Russian speaking YWAM Discipleship Training schools in Latvia in the past twenty years.
- Columbia - We have sent teams to Children's Vision International in Bogota, Colombia since 1996. Children's Vision has 150 plus children who have been rescued from the streets, from prostitution, and drug-addicted parents. Our teams have helped with construction of buildings, assisted with the care of the children, and worked on many projects at the home.
